We are a Tribal Adivasi Community in Southern part of Karnataka, Mysuru District. We are known to be Hakki Pikki Adivasi Community in Karnataka. We were a group of 60 families in Mysuru region, which was the part of Nagarahole forest in the year of Independence of India. After Animal Protection Act came into effect, we were Rehabilitated in the region of Hunsur Taluk, which our ancestors named the place Pakshirajapura in 1958.
